A New Era of Interns

The Paradise People Educational Program enhances the transition of future accountants and business consultants, from the phase of tertiary education to full-time employment. The pillars of execution for the program focuses on [1] enhanced critical thinking skills development; [2] work readiness; and [3] leadership development. Over 12 months, candidates will participate in theory, practical, and on-the-job training in relevant topics for the current Bahamian market. At the end of the program, candidates will be well-positioned to skillfully work in the field of accounting and efficiently navigate the local business environment.
Program Schedule
A combination of virtual and in-person activities comprise the execution of the program. The curriculum is divided into four phases (three months each).
Phase I: Orientation and Internal Procedures Training
Phase II: Digital Business Services
Phase III: Government & Non-Profit Initiatives
Phase IV: Leadership in a Changing Environment
Candidates will also have the option to gain specialized knowledge and professional exposure in the following industries: FinTech, Food & Beverage, Health & Wellness, Shipping & Logistics
Additional Benefits
Educational Stipend: candidates receive a monthly stipend as a scholarship towards any external educational pursuits or entrepreneurial initiatives
Talent Pool Enrollment: after orientation, candidates will be eligible to participate in the Talent Pool, which provides priority access to paid casual & contracted work assignments during their year
Eligibility Requirements:
[1] Bahamian citizen between the ages of 18 and 25
[2] Currently enrolled in a Business Degree program at an accredited university or college, and have completed at least one full year of academic studies
[3] Tech-savvy, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motivated
